Bari, Italy - MER MEC has received the PMI Italia award during "Bari07 - The meeting" .
Thanks to its long commitment in Switzerland, created through collaboration with the Swiss Federal Railways - SBB, CFF, FFC - which gave life to the ROGER 1000 multifunctional diagnostic vehicle, MER MEC is a company that can testify to the possibilities of commercial success in collaborations between Switzerland and Southern Italy.
For this, on November 26th, 2007, MER MEC received the SME Italy-Switzerland award as the best Southern Italian company to have successfully invested in the Swiss territory.
The award was given during a gala held in the occasion of the initiative "Bari07 - The meeting".
"Bari07 - The Meeting" was an event organised by the Swiss Embassy in Rome, in collaboration with the Province of Bari, the Italian and Swiss Chambers of Commerce, and OSEC Business Network Switzerland for small and medium Italian and Swiss businesses.
The event offered a panorama on the basic political-judicial conditions that constitute the foundation for commercial exchanges between Southern Italy and Switzerland, and an occasion for SMEs to meet and stimulate activities and rapports between the two nations as well as acting as a evidencing to successful cases.
