A key asset of MERMEC Group is the qualification of Authorised Research Laboratory.
All our entities in Italy and France are qualified as Research Laboratory in their respective countries:
MER MEC S.p.A. and Tecnogamma S.p.A. are qualified as Research Laboratory by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) for the design and the development of:
- Railway vehicles and systems
- Hardware and software systems.
MERMEC France is qualified as Research Laboratory by French Ministry of Research.
According both to the Italian and the French regulation for the supporting of industrial research, firms and organizations can obtain funding for applied research, demonstration and technology transfer projects carried out by Authorised Research Laboratories.
The qualification as Research Laboratory enhances the attitude of MERMEC Group companies towards co-operation and technological innovation, it strengthens their reputation as desirable research partners and further marks the capability of MERMEC Group to develop hi-tech applications also outside the railway sector.
